Software
Although all of the StudioLab’s new computers look like Macs, they actually run both Mac OS X 10.5 and Windows XP. When the computer is turned on, an onscreen prompt asks you which operating system you would prefer to use – and you simply click the icon representing the operating system you prefer.
All of the software that you are accustomed to using on the StudioLab’s computers is still available; in fact, most of the software has been updated to the most recent version. For the software listed below, the software is installed on both operating systems unless otherwise noted. For Microsoft Office products, 2007 and 2008 are releases of the same version for Windows and Mac OSX respectively.
