Free and Open Source Software
Here in the StudioLab, we are constantly on the lookout for free, easy to use software that can serve the same purpose as well-known software that costs too much money for the average college student. None of the programs listed here come with obnoxious ads or any limiting factors-- there is no "trial" and "full" software and no registration fees for any of these programs. These are programs in use in the StudioLab that you can also get for free. Know of something great we've missed? Let us know.
