CCLC promotes fluency with many types of software packages as part of our goal of helping clients to be able to communicate effectively with different forms of multimedia authoring tools, from video editing to graphic design. We want our CCLC consultants and our clients to be familiar with many different types of software, and to know the uses, strengths, and weaknesses of each. We have available for client use many programs found in computer labs and classrooms on campus at Furman, as well as some that are more specialized.Much of our software is not limited to one platform--we have software for use on Windows PC's as well as Apple computers. Use the navigation at the left to see lists of check out equipment, commercial software, open source software, and hardware that make up the virtual and physical work space of CCLC.
